What happened

The EEOC said iTutorGroup set up its online application software to automatically reject women aged 55 or older and men aged 60 or older. More than 200 qualified US applicants were turned away because of their age. The company settled through a court-approved consent decree that pays affected applicants and bans asking for birth dates.
